Alexander Rothfield

Hi there! I’m Alexander Rothfield, and I’m a New York-based performer and writer. In 2019, I graduated from Northwestern University with a Bachelor’s of Music Degree in Voice and Opera and Music Education, and a certificate in Music Theatre.

Music has been at the core of my life for as long as I can remember. It’s been my main form of communication and expression. My family had big karaoke parties, and we jammed out to music while driving to our next destination. My love for music has evolved since those simpler times, but my passion has always been rooted in music’s amazing ability to connect me and the people I love. Through music and performance, I’ve been able to meet incredible people and forge new friendships.

When I’m not performing or writing songs, I love going to the movies to catch the latest flick, listening to new albums, playing Pokémon/other nerdy stuff, wearing fun sneakers, and obsessing over my family’s corgi puppies (Maxwell, Pinball, and Zuzu) and dogs of any kind!
